Eligibility and teamsParticipants must be students at a recognized educational institution, above the legal age of majority in their country of residence, and eligible under the geographic restrictions displayed on this site. Companies are excluded. Solo entries and teams are welcome; every team member must meet the eligibility requirements. Organizers and judges may not compete for awards.
Original work and attributionSubmit one entry per project. Clearly distinguish work completed during the event from pre-existing work. Libraries, open-source components, datasets, low-code tools, and AI assistance may be used when their terms permit it; disclose and credit them. Submit only material you have permission to use. Do not present someone else’s work as your own.
Submission requirementsComplete the Devpost project page and provide an accessible demo, build, or recorded walkthrough showing the core functionality. Explain the problem, solution, technologies, contributions, and limitations. Keep judging links available through November 25. Do not include private personal information, secrets, or malicious content.
Judging and winner selectionEligible projects are assessed equally on Innovation & Originality, Usefulness & Impact, Implementation & Functionality, and Design & Presentation. Each criterion is scored from 1 to 5. Highest total scores determine the overall ranking. Ties are resolved first by Usefulness & Impact, then Implementation & Functionality, then a final comparative review by the judging panel. Judges evaluate the submitted work and may ask for clarification.
AwardsAny awards and their exact contents are listed in the Prizes section. No cash, merchandise, sponsorship benefit, or other financial reward is promised unless explicitly listed there.
Community conductTreat participants and organizers respectfully. Harassment, discrimination, plagiarism, cheating, and interference with other projects are not allowed. Entries that violate these event requirements may be excluded from judging. Report questions or concerns using the contact link on this site.
